History of PRADUM

PRADUM opened its doors in February 2008 as the first student-run Public Relations and Advertising Agency at the University of Miami's School of Communication. PRADUM is designed to provide students with hands-on experience outside of the classroom in preparation for the real world.

Clients and students alike benefit from this experiential learning environment. Businesses and organizations benefit from the innovative educational model by receiving professional products and campaigns at low cost, while students learn to implement skills and knowledge they acquire in the classroom.

Under the direction of Dr. Alyse Lancaster, Dr. Don W. Stacks, Professor Cornelia Splichal, and Professor Phil Willet, what began as just a vision, evolved into a task force of 9 students from the PRSSA and ADgroup. After deciding on a name, organizational structure, and hiring process, the task force grew to an ambitious staff of 18 students dedicated to serving their clients' needs in an increasingly competitive business environment. Today the firm has a diverse staff with majors including public relations, advertising, and marketing. Students in PRADUM are completing projects for clients which currently consist of Cosford Cinemas, ADgroup, and the development of the agency itself.

PRADUM eagerly continues to evolve its services and skills to better serve their clients in a professional competitive environment.
